very poor customer service

Due to 2 water incidents in our home. We found out direct lone outsoirce their insurance to AXA.omg..customer care does not exist with either of these companies. Reviewed on: 19th July 2017

Great company to deal with.

Direct Line is always the cheapest for our home insurance but has better cover than most. It includes travel insurance at no extra cost. We had to cancel a holiday last year due to health reasons and claimed back the deposit from Direct Line. The claim went through easily and quickly and I'd recommend them to anyone. Superb customer service!

We have used other companies for our home insurance, however, none compare to Direct Line. We pay a little extra for the Home Start package which has saved us from very cold winters with the boiler repair. We have made claims following a burglary and it was dealt with very professionally but friendly too - very sympathetic and great service. Reviewed on: 4th July 2017

Great customer service over the phone

I wanted to get home insurance today for my contents inside my flat the gentleman over the phone gave me great quotes and was polite and very friendly with me over the phone. I wanted my home and belongings insured in case of fire flood or some other disaster. Ive been told as well by direct line that i can be insured while im away from home such as a mugging happened to me i would be insured for that all at £18.30 a month which i thought was brilliant price. Im now happy that ive got home insurance after seeing the glenfell tower block fire in london today it really made me think i need to be insured. Anything can happen and it is deverstating when it does. I was mugged few years back i wish i was insured by direct line then. Reviewed on: 14th June 2017

decent service though poor promotional offer

signed up with direct line home insurance with a £50 Amazon voucher if ordered online. told would receive it within 120 days. its now been 140days and still chasing it up, frustrating! Reviewed on: 24th December 2016
