Fantastically helpful service

I was in a position to pay off my mortgage and phoned for help. I got straight through, the staff member I spoke to was very helpful and sent me all the information I need within a couple of hours. When I was trying to make my payments I encountered a couple of hiccups on my side - nothing to do with Dudley BS - and the email support that I asked for was given quickly, precisely, and was exactly what I needed, and all done with a positive tone. For the onset the team at Dudley are always personable, efficient and responsive and in these days of automated systems it is this attention to detail and understanding that marks Dudley Building Society as an outstanding people driven mortgage provider. Flexible and Good Communication

I am a mortgage adviser and work with a lot of Building Societies and Banks and know to expect with each. When a lender is flexible like Dudley BS, they obviously need more information to ensure that they are protecting the customer and the society. Although the process was a bit slow and laborious, the overall service, flexibility and communication was good. I will definitely consider using them again when the need appears. Allowing more time for repayment on maturity

When the mortgage matured and we needed more time to resolve the best way forward the Dudley team were very helpful and patient. This enabled a satisfactory resolution for both sides. Reviewed on: 18th August 2025

Outstanding from start to finish

From start to finish of our relationship with Dudley BS, their service has been outstanding. All the people we dealt with - whether over the phone (it was nice at times to still be able to pick up the phone and speak to a person to quickly clarify/sort an issue) or via email were polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Mortgage review explanation.

I spoke to a member of the customer service team. Lilly, was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful with my enquiry. So helpful and made what can be a confusing conversation to have if your experience in the mortgage sector is below the normal, her approach in dealing with any question i asked was one of a clear and precise explanation without any confusion.
