First direct keep me informed without bombarding me relentlessly with emails and texts. They inform of product offerings, statements and interest rate changes in periodic and timely fashion. Easy Banking

I do most of my banking online and it's easy to do, the interface is simple and straightforward allowing me to do most things that I want to. I also get text messages several times a week with a mini-statement and information about money going in and out of my account so I don't have to go online as often. It's just easy. But the very best thing is the customer service. Before online banking I used to manage my account by telephone and I still have to call sometimes and they are always polite, helpful and patient and I know that if I call them about anything it will be sorted or explained fully. First Direct - best telephoning banking service

I switched to First Direct from Natwest around 4 years ago. First Direct made the transition really easy, even through various complications on my side. I've never received unfair bank charges (unlike Natwest), communication is fantastic and I'm unable to get through to a customer service adviser within 2-3 rings.
