A* Service

Very easy to set up and transfer from old bank account. In store staff always very friendly and make the process pain free. Great rewards and the upgraded account is great value for money. Reviewed on: 20th November 2016

Good Customer Service But Terrible Interest

While I realise that interest rates are low on all bank accounts, I do not believe there is any reason for them to be; the Bank of England rate does not determine what other banks can give on their accounts. Right now my current account offers no reason to keep money in it for any length of time, and to be honest neither do my savings accounts with Halifax either, which is why I have moved most of my money in other places where I can more easily make some return upon it. I've always found their customer care to be very good, with excellent staff, but until the products on offer match the quality of the staff it is hard to recommend. Reviewed on: 20th November 2016

setting up new account

I switched current accounts and halifax were very efficient in switching over all my direct debits within a week with no issues. Reviewed on: 19th November 2016

the best bank I've ever used

Customer service workers are really helpful, particularly telephone banking. They did offer £5 cash back a month but are reducing it to £3 unfortunately. Reviewed on: 15th November 2016

Cashbook

Where did th rewards go?

My reward account always seemed worthwhile but now the news has reached customers that our £5 reward each month is now going down to £3. This is incredibly disappointing consider we are the loyal customers which keep the bank going. Reviewed on: 14th November 2016
