Lady was lovely,

Lady was lovely, nothing too much trouble, listened to me and my brother rattling on , as mum had sadly died the year before, when I needed another account I had all the help I needed. Reviewed on: 20th October 2024

Good customer service reviews

Read about different savings available on the Internet and although savings rate was very slightly lower, customer service reviews were excellent. Had to contact customer services just once but very helpful. Reviewed on: 23rd December 2020

Friendly and helpful

Just received good service when opening up a new savings account. Fairly straightforward, though it would have been better if there had been a direct telephone helpline. Reviewed on: 23rd December 2020

Opening new account.

I enquired online this morning how to open an account. I was called back after 10 mins.. I was made an appointment at a local branch immediately .. while on route to the branch I was rang by a member of staff who said the branch had had to be closed due to a h&s issue. However she still met me at the door passed out the papers which I completed outside and then processed my request.. this afternoon I received notification by email that it had been actioned. Bearing in mind we are in a pandemic and that the building society were experiencing other issues as well resulting in closure I can’t fault the professionalism of all the staff and the help I received at the hinckley branch.. One of the best rates available

I moved money from elsewhere as the rate on offer had declined to almost nothing, H&R offered something better, and the service I encountered was great! 10/10, keep up the good work! Reviewed on: 19th December 2020

Good friendly but a little archaic service.

Getting through to the Building Society can take a little patience, however, when answered the staff are very friendly, polite & helpful, especially Harriet Ward. The Building Society procedures & practices are some what antiquated & they must move into the 21st century, if they are to survive. Their saving products are good rather than excellent. Superb customer service

I have been truly amazed at the level of customer care I have received. Nothing has been too much trouble in all my dealings with a customer assistant, Jeanette Sobalski, and she has kept me fully informed throughout the whole process of opening my account. She certainly knows the meaning of customer care and is a credit to the Hinckley and Rugby Building Society. Fathers savings account

No at lutterworth branch couldn't have been more helpful!had a bit of difficulty getting the right proof of address docs for my 97yr old father took longer than we thought she kept in contact with me on the phone and went the extra mile to help.thankyou nice to have some good customer service for a chnge.
