Unable to contact via. telephone.

It's very unhelpful not to be able to speak to an actual person by telephone. The 0800 number given either directs to the website contact page to an 07516 number which is not active. Reviewed on: 31st July 2021

Contrasting building societies,

A visit to H & R B S in Rugby is an enjoyable experience. For decades I was with the Halifax, which gradually declined, most of the staff being completely uninterested in you being there. I transferred everything to the Hinckley and Rugby, which is a complete contrast, with pleasant staff who want you to be there. Reviewed on: 17th October 2025

Excellent service at the Hinckley branch.

Came to the Hinckley branch to sort out my deceased wife’s isa account. The manager (Michalea) was excellent and very understanding the situation. Great advice given. Reviewed on: 16th October 2025
