Shocking

Used telephone banking to change my address as I have moved. The person I spoke to was not at all clear and spoke very quietly I asked them if they would talk louder but throughout the call they spoke very quietly. They told me after about half an hour that I had not passed the security questions and that the account was locked and I would have to go into a branch of the bank to rectify. The only branch in Northampton is in the town center is closed until 19th December?? My personal account details are being sent to the old address where all the occupants will now have access to my account?? Reviewed on: 25th November 2022

Excellent service from my local branch.

HSBC blocked a payment from my current account as it was thought that it might be fraudulent. I went to my local branch, where a friendly member of staff provided me with a cup of coffee and helped me to sort out the problem. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

I went to HSBC because I lost my card, and I met a beautiful customer service agent, Linda Newron, who welcomed me and helped how to get new card in the post, taught me how to use the new system cash machine because I am illiterate, I really appreciate her a lot.
