Didn't change address properly

I contacted the Bank on many occasions to change an overseas address as I was stuck there due to Covid-19 and my card had expired. The staff I spoke to on the phone only put in the 1st line of the address despite me spelling the full address patiently word for word. Easy to set up

High Interest on current account

Tutbury Branch - Small village branch - always helpful, signed up easily transferred from Classic account, free magazine every month as a 'reward'. Reviewed on: 16th February 2016

no fuss banking

i changed my bank account from barclays to lloyds after years of issues with barclays and i am so glad that i did. i have never had any issues with lloyds - no frills, no bells and whistles, just a bank account that works. i find them very helpful. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Helped with fraud

Always trying to sell me stuff

i hate my bank, everytime i go in they try to sell me stuff. They offered me a loan to pay off the last part of my finance as it would be a lower interest rate so i agreed i went in sat down for 45 minutes with them to be told i dont qualify!!! They've done it quite a few times. I stay with them as it's a hassle to move but they aren't a good bank. Reviewed on: 12th February 2016

Best of traditional and modern banking

This is a review of a Club Lloyds current account held at the Helston, Cornwall branch. In the branch you get traditional, competent service and you rarely have to wait long. The staff make a real point of being friendly and welcoming and don't take offence when I tell them that I don't want to use the new-fangled machine for paying in cheques and I don't want a financial review and I don't want their home insurance. I'm very happy with the Club Lloyds current account that pays a great interest rate and is accessible via a web-site that hardly ever goes down and I get access to the Club Lloyds monthly saver and they even send me a copy of Runners' World every month!
