Avoid them like the plague

The worst bank I have ever used with very poor customer service. They froze my account when I received my first salary on it, due to and administration error on their side... but they did not communicate this to me in any form (email, phone, etc), just simply froze it. When I went in to find out what happened the bank tellers was rude and unhelpful, almost treating me like a criminal and told me to come back in 2 weeks time. I challenged her that I will not leave until I get my money back even if means to closing down my account, and voila suddenly there was an open slot to come back the next day. When I arrived then, a very cheerful supervisor told me "hahaha we froze your account, because we made a mistake copying your legal documents, so funny!". Yeah, really funny when you have to pay rent in 2 days and cannot access your money. I stayed with them for 2-3 years despite this, but everytime I entered the bank they had the same "what do you want now?" attitude. Reviewed on: 21st April 2024

I am pleased to open my classic bank account in Lloyds Bank without any difficulty. Unlike other Bank companies Lloyds bank follows today's world advancement while providing an online platform for new users to open a bank account promptly without additional paperwork. Besides, stuff guiding you toward the online system is very helpful and responsive. You just need to take few minutes to fill out the online form and then you are good to go!
