Easy and friendly service

When using this bank it was so easy to set up an account and deposit money. Reviewed on: 20th April 2015

Good customer service but high fees/ charges

Lloyds are one of the big four banks and they have good customer service. When my account had fraud on they dealt with it quickly and efficently and when I lost my card they cancelled it and sent a replacement out really quickly. The only issue I have with Lloyds is the high charges and fees, if going over the overdraft limit etc. The fees should be capped much lower than they are or a small debt can become a large debt quite quickly. The online banking facilities are really great, setting up direct debits and standing orders is quick and easy and checking your account from a mobile or a PC is simple. Reviewed on: 20th April 2015

Top quality customer service

They have given me an account when nobody else would and since then have been nothing but friendly,helpful and knowledgeable and despite having a relatively bad credit rating have always treated me with respect and advised me on the best things to do in order to better my credit rating and improve my chances of gaining things like mortgages and insurance as well as possible overdraft/credit facilities, great bank and great account,so glad I am with them. whenever I go into the branch the staff are friendly and welcoming and always make an effort to chat and I genuinely don't have a bad word to say about the account, the bank or the staff and services they provide, top class in my opinion Reviewed on: 10th April 2015

Always there to help

Since joining Lloyds bank about 89 years ago, They have been fab and always a quick call away, I always get to speak to someone english and in my own country. If I have had any problems it has always been resolved on one phone call. Reviewed on: 26th March 2015

Fairly reliable, but fairly unexceptional

Been with these guys since I was a kid. Their on-line self-serve is....average - fairly unambitious, their interest rates are...average, they send me a reasonable amount of junk mail which goes straight in the junk. No major mistakes in 25 years but they run away like a terrified squirrel if you ask them to intervene in a dispute with a vendor. If they were food they'd be a cheese sandwich. Outstanding customer service.

I must say, I know little about every different kind of banking service, but the Lloyds personal banking website is very good fun. It's well signposted and colourful without being garish. The tasteful green boxes and rounded fonts make you feel as if you are in the spa of banking websites - very calming and kind. Lloyds are there for you 24/7 and I can honestly say nearly every adviser I have spoken to, be it on the phone or in branch, has been pleasant, most particularly at the Teddington branch, where on every single occasion I have received wonderful service, always leaving the bank with a smile. Everything has been comprehensively explained, appointments well-run and efforts always made to ensure your needs are met, even an on-whim request for a copy of a bank statement for an interview, was kindly done. I look forward to yet more humanising experiences in the years to come, when the lands of mortgages, bonds and e-investments may beckon! Reviewed on: 20th January 2015

We have never had any problems with this account.

We have been with Lloyds Bank for many years now. The one we deal with is in Madeley, Telford, Shropshire. We have a couple of accounts and isa s. If we have a query about anything (which doesn't happen very often) we ask a member of staff for assistance and nine times out of ten someone is on hand to discuss the problem. If not an appointment is made to suit us. The staff are always friendly yet professional, helpful but not pushy, polite and courteous. We wouldn't even consider moving to another bank. Most of our family and friends are with Lloyds and those that are not we would recommend that they change to Lloyds. The service from Loyds is 'Second to None' !! Reviewed on: 11th January 2015
