Still a step ahead

Have been using Monzo since the Mondo days. It's still my primary money management app and although many banks are copying their innovations, they're still catching up and Monzo are miles ahead. My office sits on a busy high street opposite banks and I still see queues outside. I pity people who stand in a queue outside a bank when I know I can just send a secure message from within the app! Helped me so much

Before I moved to monzo I didn't have a clue about savings, now I have separate pots for everything. Thanks to monzo I have been able to save for my car insurance, save for holidays and pay for myself to get braces. Getting notifications about how much you pay for certain areas of things has really opened my eyes to silly spending. I recommend this bank to absolutely everyone, especially those who are struggling to save. Anytime I've had to contact monzo I've used the in app chat, they got back to me so quickly and were brilliant with helping about my enquiries, I've also had enquiries that I haven't needed to ask in the app chat because there is plenty of information you can search for which is extremely helpful. I feel like a budgeting pro

My previous bank didn't have the tools Monzo does and would also make my money quite opaque with tricks like card payments seemingly randomly applying to my balance. Being able to put money in pots and accurately predict upcoming payments, I feel much more on control of my finances. Reviewed on: 24th January 2022

Monzo has been a game changer for me, as a disabled ADHDer, Monzo's plain language approach, simplicity and visual appearance make banking not only tolerable but an absolute joy.
