Extremely competitive savings and mortgage rates.

Extremely competitive savings and mortgage rates. Amazing value for money on their current accounts. Customer service is second to none. They don't close high street banks, and they give back to their customers. I have never had to raise a dispute or complaint and I have been with Nationwide for years. Excellent bank! A community feeling.

Over 20 years with Nationwide, starting with a savings account, now with them as main bank. There is, however fictional, a community feeling to a building society. Maybe it feels less ruthless in a ruthless world. There are valid queries about the amount the CEO is paid, why are bankers so overpaid compared to the rest of the population? A self deluding system perhaps, but given that a bank is a necessity, Nationwide gives good bank. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2026

FEES, POOR COMMUNICATION LESSEN THE EXPERIENCE

I WAS DE FRAUDED AND COULD NOT FIND A METHOD OTHER THAN PHONE TO COMMUNICATE WHICH WAS UNACCEPTABLE TO ME. IN ANOTHER INSTANCE THERE WAS AN INBOUND TRANSFER THAT APPEARED TO GET LOST FOR 48HRS. NATIONWIDES HELP BOTS AND EVENTUALLY PEOPLE COULD NOT HELP AND SIMPLY ADVISED TO WAIT & SEE Reviewed on: 23rd January 2026
