Friendly, in-person service and online great too

I have had an excellent experience with Nationwide. I love that they have branches on the high street and it is genuinely possible to go in and speak to someone. I do bank online, and that is great too, I find the phone app and website very easy to use and the card reader adds a good level of security. Still, especially when I am anxious about anything money-related, it is so good to be able to enter a branch and speak to someone. The staff are always helpful and have an amazing manner with customers, including senior citizens. Branches I’ve used have included Hove, Brighton (London Road), Guildford, Epsom, and Aberystwyth. Brilliant products and especially rewards for loyalt...

Brilliant products and especially rewards for loyalty - something hard to find in financial services. Customer service is second to none and they are very supportive. Initiatives such as Fairer Share and supermarket shopping cashback have been deeply positive initiatives especially in terms of the cost of living crisis. Overall a brilliant building society.
