Flex Plus Account

5
I love my nationwide flex plus account because even though it’s an account that you pay for, you get 3% interest on up to £2,500 and you get various insurance policies with it. For yourself and your partner if you live with them! My boyfriend and I used to pay a similar amount per month just for mobile phone insurance so I definitely think it’s worth it. Excellent compassionate and reasonable

5
I was having trouble getting into debt and they helped me to reduce my overdraft at a reasonable rate so that I wouldn't suffer too harshly from the reductions. They were very compassionate towards my situation and made me feel confident and at ease. Reviewed on: 18th December 2018

Friendly in branch service

At a time when many banks are closing their hight street branches, I especially appreciate my local Nationwide branch. There's nothing better than old fashioned personal service to build confidence. Reviewed on: 17th December 2018

Initially problematic, now good

4
Initially I received a letter saying I had been rejected for this account, and after calling I found this not to be the case. This caused a degree of confusion and anxiety for me which is not what banking should be about. I have been happy with this account as it offers a good overdraft with fair terms and conditions, and is the only account of its type that is fee-free, as far as I am aware. Since then I have got on well with Nationwide and I have had no other issues, having banked with them since birth. I would recommend this account due to its fee-free options and I have overall had a good experience with Nationwide. Their app is useful and I find their staff very helpful.
