Greatbanking and secure service, Go Nationwide

I have banked with Nat. West, Lloyds and Principality through the years. I was never really happy with the banking system. These banks are much of a muchness. When I joined Nationwide( I appreciate they are more a building society than a standard bank. They are brilliant across the board, services, staffing, and product. They have given me three sums of money because I am a member and bank with them. It was free, I didn’t have to do anything. I never had free money before lol! Security aspects are brilliant stopping me from being scammed. They engender trust in their operation. I love them. As long as this carries on I will remain with them. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026

Great experience all round

I have never had any problems resolving issues with the customer service. Everything has been communicated clearly and resolved quickly. The yearly fairer share payment is always nice to receive into your account, especially as it is far more than I'd expect to receive as interest on the current account. Their app is very useful, with a nice, easy to navigate user interface. There have been short periods of time where the app has been down, but never enough to cause me any real problems. I opened a Nationwide Flex Direct current account an...

I opened a Nationwide Flex Direct current account and received £175 cash back. The process was so quick, easy and efficient.I only had to provide my current bank account details and permission to transfer them and then close it. The rest was completed by Nationwide.I was kept informed of the process until completion. EVEN BETTER,I have noticed that the payback bonus has now increased to £200! Reviewed on: 21st June 2025
