Nice company to do business with

I called in to my local branch to open a savings account; the interest rate was competitive and I was keen to find a local company to invest with. The staff at the branch were so friendly and very professional. Very pleased with my investment. Reviewed on: 28th October 2019

TOP MARKS FOR USER FRIENDLINESS

In the process of setting up an ISA for the first time found every stage of the procedure found it to be very slick, easy to follow from step to step, and never had the slightest problem at any stage. I have no experience of other Building Society's systems, but as far I am concerned the Newbury Building Society's systems (at least for an 84 year old) are as good as it gets. Other places could learn from this Building Society

All of the staff are engaging and helpful. I have received a lot of really good information about the products on offer yet never felt pushed into making a decision or getting a product. Jessica helped us with phone calls and emails and the area manager made us coffee! Reviewed on: 12th December 2025

Excellent service

I was welcomed to the branch and made feel very comfortable. Dorothy was very informative and knowledgeable. She explained different accounts so I knew which was best for me. All in all the service was excellent . Reviewed on: 10th December 2025
