Unable to close account!

I got PayPal credit, then tried to close it but couldn't without paying it off. Paying it off didn't help so I contacted customer service and they told me to pay it off, I ended up with a positive balance and now can't close the account at all. Not the best process! Reviewed on: 7th July 2026

PayPal credit is fantastic!

I have been using PayPal for many years and it’s always been the best for purchasing stuff. I got my baby girl her travel set using PayPal credit due to not having funds available straight away and it allowed me to be able to get it for her in time for her arrival and I had four months to pay it off with no interest.
