Not the cheapest but worth the money

Great pet insurance which has always paid out with no quibbles. It isn’t the cheapest but covers most of our pets’ needs so gives us peace of mind. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023

Cannot fault them

I have been with PetPlan for Almost 16 years covering 4 Briards. Although they are expensive at the outset, they pay out immediately, they do not increase the premiums due to claims but do so purely on age and they provide the exact same cover when the dogs are taken abroad. We currently have 3 Briards and we are only now in the "red" as the dogs have not been ill. During the first 10 years, we were in "profit" re premiums vs claims. Cannot fault them and will continue to use them for future dogs. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023

Always been the best

Great company

Stress free

I have made a lot of claims for my pet over the last 12 years. Pet plan are always quick to pay out. They keep you informed of what’s happening with your claim . My pet has regular medication for her condition and pet plan cover the cost of it all Reviewed on: 7th August 2023

Would not go anywhere else for pet insurance

Sadly two of our dogs have long term conditions. In addition one has lymphoma. Year after year Petplan have settled our claims without question, taking away that additional worry. Not the cheapest, but I believe the best Reviewed on: 4th August 2023

Top class insurance

My 4 year old cat was the exremelly unwell in November 2022. She had multiple fractures and had to have a fermerol neck ostectomy. Amidst this she developed Ileus and had to abdominal surgery with 20 cm of her intestine removed. It was also discovered that she had early stage Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy heart disease. She was touch and go at some points and she was in and out of various vets including the Royal Vetinary Hospital for small animals. She incurred a huge bill and although it went over the top cover that I have with Petplan, they paid for treatment up to the limit I was covered for. They paid the RVC directly for her treatment and reimbursed me for local vet cover. The whole process was smooth in very distressing circumstances. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2023

Made an emotional time less stressful.

My Greyhound was diagnosed with bone cancer & only survived a couple of weeks. Petplans website was easy to use & navigate. All costs for treatment & final visit were covered except for my excess. Great service when you need it the most. Reviewed on: 2nd August 2023

Simply the best

No way would I have been able to keep my little constant companion without Petplan, no way could I afford the treatment he needs to keep him happy and healthy. They never quibble, payment is always made promptly. Reviewed on: 2nd August 2023
