Fast, friendly and efficient

Only delays in payment were due to shortstaffing at vet. Even then petplan advised for reason for delay. Reviewed on: 29th September 2023

No quibble from Petplan about paying

I found Petplan really good with paying up -no quibble and the new premiums are not unreasonable. Better than the two other insurance companies I have had in the past. Reviewed on: 26th July 2022

Simple service for claims

Having never had reason to claim on pet insurance in about 20 years, I was really pleased to see how easy claiming was recently when my dog had extensive dental treatment. Keep up the good work. Reviewed on: 26th July 2022

Claims Honoured

Petplan have always honoured my claims, and even when one claim ended with my cat having to be euthanised, they still paid for the treatment up to that point and treated the manner very sensitively. Can't fault them in their animal-centred approach! Reviewed on: 26th July 2022

Great pet insurance company

Very happy with Pet Plan. Have used them for years and wouldn't go elsewhere. They pay up for bone fide treatment when you need them and seem genuinely interested in your pet. Nice company to deal with. I recommend them to all my friends. I think private insurance is essential if you own a pet. Reviewed on: 26th July 2022

Helpful, kind and understanding staff

I don’t often have to phone or contact Petplan because everything is sorted out between our vet practice and Petplan, which makes everything really stress free. However, the last time I called with a question, the colleague was so helpful and interested, it really was a pleasure to talk with her. Pet loving company

Petplan really understands how important pets are to their families and they do their best to support us when our animals are in trouble. Not only are they sympathetic and supportive when we need advice or make a claim, but there are regular useful emails about animal health.
