Review of the Policy Expert, Home insurance:

Disappointing Service, Unexplained Denials, and Poor.

I am thoroughly disappointed with Policy Expert UK and Trinity Claims. Despite submitting valid claims on my policy, every single one has been denied without any clear explanation or reasoning, leaving me completely in the dark about their decision-making process. Their customer service is equally frustrating. They fail to call back at the agreed times, don’t respond to messages in their portal, and treat you as though you’re being dishonest just for filing a claim. The interactions feel condescending and unprofessional, especially if you happen to have a foreign-sounding name. For non-native speakers, there is no patience or consideration either, which only adds to the feeling of being dismissed and unvalued. I would strongly advise against using this company if you’re looking for support and transparency when it matters most. This has been a deeply disappointing experience with no accountability in sight. Reviewed on: 31st October 2024

Happy to recommend a previous customer

Purchased 3 months ago as a previous customer and I could not find a better rate or better cover for the cost despite searching for quite a while. All completed on line without human interaction and following payment my documents were instantly available for download. I have used the same company for a while now but always research for alternatives to ensure my premiums are not being artificially inflated. I am an older person so my risk factors may be lower but the house and contents are still higher value. I will remain with them as long as they continue to offer such good value for money. I have not needed to make a claim but this is usually where you find out how good your chosen company is. I feel confident that I will receive top of the line service despite the lower premium. Worth insuring with

Have stayed with policy expert for the last 3 years and have never had any problems. They only ever increase my insurance policy costs to match in line with inflation but it’s never a big jump in price. They include free extras as part of my package aswell. If I ever need them, they are easy to contact and sort any issues out quickly. Reviewed on: 24th August 2024

My renewal with Policy Expert had gone up significantly. After using a comparison site I called Policy Expert and they were able to better the other quotes I'd received. Annoying that the price had hiked in the first place, but I ended up with a premium I was comfortable with. Fortunately I've not needed to claim, so can't comment on the processing. A Marvellous Insurance Company

We are so often told not to ‘automatically renew’ our insurance, so when my house insurance was due for renewal, & I had been sent a renewal price by Policy Expert, I was pretty sure that I’d get a better deal elsewhere, so started the search, and searched, and searched, and …. You get the idea! Policy Expert WAS the best deal. Additionally, on the occasion that I had a problem & wasn’t sure whether I could claim on my insurance, Policy Expert were brilliant. Gave great & helpful advice, rang me back when they said they would, & explained everything clearly without being condescending. A truly marvellous insurance company. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Top service and great prices

I have been with policy expert for several years now and they have always beaten the next best price on any comparison websites. Communication is good, although I have yet to make any claims so I cannot comment on that side of service. I will continue to use Policy expert and have recommended them to friends and families.
