A Friendly Helpful and Professional Insurance Company

I had a claim for a car accident. Their response was swift, polite, and professional. The whole matter was sorted within 7 days, and I received a very decent valuation on my written off car which was paid within 10 days! They couldn't have been more helpful. Reviewed on: 24th August 2023

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS !!!!! £700 increase on my premium compared to last year, no claims, no accidents or motoring offences. Looking at comparison websites I am able to get a quote for £1000 (!!!!) less than what privilege has quoted me. I have been with this insurance company for a couple years and their customer service is abysmal. Tried using their messaging service on their website and have spent a total of 6 hours only to be told they can take £200 (still £800 more that comparison websites) off the renewal quote and weren't able to give me an explanation as to why my premium has increased so much. Renewal quote high but did haggle

Wasn't impressed with renewal quote so did check out other insurers then let Privilege know the best deal price & asked if they would match it. They did but why didn't they give a lower, more reasonable quote in the first place! They almost lost out as I was very tempted to go elsewhere!! Reviewed on: 28th June 2023

SCAM - CHEATER - DONT USE THEM 100 % I can confirm how rubbish this company are! 5013537336 Calls centres are in India, very difficult to understand them. EVEN WAIT 1 HOUR TO CANCEL MY POLICY WITH TMEM. Heartless company. Full of lies!! And I am carless thanks to theft and I thought I didn’t need to worry. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THEM... I CAN SAY 100 % RUN VERY FAR AWAY FROM THEM, ONLY WILL EAT YOUR MONEY AND WILL GIVE YOU STRESS. I am now stressed that these people are useless! Don't choose Privilege

The Privilege hasn't paid my damage claim in over a year. They do not respond to e-mail. Since the car was old, Privilege engineers decided to collect the car and pay for it. They didn't pay off the car! Never again Privilege! Reviewed on: 28th April 2023

Very poor service

It's been 6 weeks since I submitted a claim with Privilege and they have done absolutely nothing about it. Every week when I call them, it's the same old story. We are busy, call back next week and we'll have an answer for you. But come th next week, I just get the same excuses again. I submitted all the photos, information and quote immediately after I made the claim. There is absolutely no reason why it should take so long to look at it. They are very quick to take your money, but when it comes to paying out a claim they take their sweet time. This is the first time that I had my car insured with Privilege and also the first claim I've ever made, but I will definitely never get car insurance from them again. I have complained several times now and every time I was promised that someone would call me back, but I never hear from them. Reviewed on: 22nd February 2023
