Great service

I am not normally someone who likes banks but I have to say I have very positive experience with Santander mortgage people, everything was straight forwards and all my queries were answered in a timely manner. I think they have competitive product as well, happy with my remortgage deal too. Reviewed on: 5th September 2016

Clear and Straight forward

Having held a mortgage with Santander for a number of years i have had no problems with the service,rates or fees, which are very competitive in the market. My local branch is very helpful in the times i have had to make an appointment unlike my experience with many rivals on other products i hold. I would certainly recommend Santander. Hassle free Mortgages

After careful research we chose to apply for a mortgage with the Santander as they offered us the best package compared to all the other high street banks. Our Mortgage application was quick and straight forward to fill in and processed hassle free and quickly. They are well worth a look :D Reviewed on: 11th July 2016

Very quick

I got a mortgage 8 months ago with Santander, they offered me the most money compared to all the other high street banks, and gave me a free home valuation too. The valuation took place 3 days after I walked into the branch, I know other banks take weeks to organise this. There was a fee of £500 for the mortgage but it did not have to be paid upfront it could be added to loan or paid 2 weeks after mortgage starts so if the property fell through you wouldn't lose any money. Also £250 was given towards legal fees too, def worked out the cheapest options and the interest rate I am paying is very competitive and the lowest on market. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Overall quite good

My review is really about the good level of service I have received as part of my mortgage. Would say that although my branch staff seem to have changed a lot more since the Abbey National days, the service remains friendly but professional which is all you can ask for these days. got the original mortgage with them in the bank and remortgaged with them when was up for renewal. friendly helpfuk staff

Can't really fault Santander experience.

After changing mortgage providers three times previously I switched to Santander in 2011. I like the security of a fixed rate and after much research decided Santander offered the best deal for me. In 2014 when my three year deal came to an end I again spent quite some time weighing up my options. All things considered I thought that Santander was again the way to go and agreed a further three year fix. Of course next time I will still shop around but I have got to say that I've found all my dealings and communications with Santander to be straightforward and simple. Reviewed on: 30th August 2015
