Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Sunshine on a rainy day.

When I felt I was in the depths of financial despair, I was advised to contact Step Change. From the first phone call to them, I was reassured that everything would be alright. I was helped to form a payment plan that was agreeable to all parties concerned. I had to complete regular budget planners throughout my plan, which kept my disposable income realistic. The customer service received by Step Change was amazing all the way through. There was no judgement on my financial situation, and they really did help me to turn everything around. Step change advice!

I found myself in unmanageable debt and felt like I had nowhere to turn. I found step change who provided free, independent and invaluable support and advice. This was quick and efficient, they contacted debtors on my behalf and acted as a conduit with expertise that I simply don't have.
