Family Building Society Branch Review

I have dyscalculia and online banking is very difficult, so not reserving all favourable rates for online only would be very considerate (applies to all banks and building societies). Reviewed on: 1st February 2023

Great customer experience and prompt replies to questions

I invested in a Family Building Society Windfall Bond. Have never heard of the company I did some research and still felt nervous! I am pleased to say I found all interactions prompt, efficient and professional. A mobile friendly webpage would be a useful improvement, that is a minor point. Reviewed on: 14th January 2023

great personal service

Staff answer the phones immediately, are friendly, patient and well informed. Products also. competetive. Only. critique , your inability to accept bank transfers have resulted in delay to completions . I think you should as a financial business review this situation. Reviewed on: 29th December 2022

Windfall Bond

Bring the WFB back to sizeable investors. Nationwide ran a 12m draw much "fairer" than the FBS bond. Scrap the "Blank Tickets" & alot to your members ! (IF they intend to limit the numbers, then introduce eg. Holders with a minimum of say 2 or 3 to qualify. Another eg. Halifax investors criteria £5k minimum. Reviewed on: 16th December 2022

Fixed Rate Bond

Recently opened a fixed rate bond online and later spoke to a member of staff to clarify a couple of points. Christina was very friendly and helpful and everything went smoothly. Reviewed on: 9th December 2022

Good savings interest

They have been very quick to increase their variable savings rates in line with the Bank of England rates. Reviewed on: 6th December 2022

Poor interest rates

Their easy access account now pays the lowest interest rates in the high street amongst other B/S, where before it used to be one of the best, VERY disappointed. Reviewed on: 30th November 2022

I opened an online savings account with you and found the whole process to be easy to use and quick. I received documents in the post very quickly and used your 'upload' document process.
