Ethical banking to help solve climate breakdown

I just love knowing that my money are helping a little bit making this world a better place. Climate breakdown is the single, most important issue of our times, and we're not doing anything close enough to even start to solve it. Also, I really don't mind paying the £3 monthly fee, since this helps more vulnerable customers: other banks have a 'hidden cost' for these customers, and this doesn't sit right with my values. Best feature: pence per transaction.

They are a bank that was recommended to me by another director of a limited company. Their best feature is the pence per transaction. That reduces my company's costs to an absolute bare minimum. There are very few other banks that work that way. Reviewed on: 20th March 2026
