Ok there is my experience with TSB that I will share everywhere is possible till I get compensation or someone from TSB go to the jail for taking overpower against TSB customers!!!! For all TSB customers listening this !!!! ( and change your bank as soon as possible ) I was trying to transfer money for car that my wife purchased and that was less than £2000… while transferring money for my purchase my account was frozen (blocked) by TSB !!! I couldn’t finish my transaction and a huge deal that I had it’s gone because TSB bank won’t let me pay for my purchase!!!! Than listening this please !!!! I called to TSB bank for explanation and asked for immediately unlocking my account!!! It took me 3hours before I get someone to speak !!! Than I get questions like for what I want to pay for .. which is not a bank business to know for what is it !!! that was only £1800 not a £30k .. than finally I told them ok that was a payment for a car that I’ve seen already and like to go ahead and pay for it … TSB told me that I can’t pay for a car till I get it delivered to my address than I can call them again and they will unlock that payment ( please note when I called TSB that was Monday and car should be delivered on Friday .. so to be clear they told me that I have to wait 4-days and call TSB when car will be delivered home at Friday than I have to call TSB back tell them that car is there I’m happy and please let me pay for my car!!!! This is simply over power by Bank TSB which is scandalous and illegal !!!! There is no chance that someone will drive 360miles to mine for free to show me a car !!! I’m warning all customers!!!! Change your bank!!!! To be very clear I’m a 16-years TSB customer.. TSB never had a single issue with me!!! Scandalous!!! Reviewed on: 29th December 2024

Worst Bank Ever

Customer service is appalling and you will never get answers to any questions you ask and they will never put you through to a manager who can answer your questions. I’ve had my business cards blocked 4 times in 2 months. This is without no apparent reason. It takes me over an hour to get them unblocked and I have to answer the same stupid question to more than 2 people before getting transferred to the right person. Today was so frustrating when a few transactions were blocked and had to be put on hold for over an 1hour 45 minutes, just to be told that I will be issued with a brand new card! My current card is not due to expire. I asked why and all I got told is ‘I don’t Know’ . I asked to speak to the manager and got told they were not available, I requested a call back and explained this keeps happening and I had even made a formal complaint which didn’t ever get resolved. I was told TSB managers don’t ring the customer back and I would have to try to call them again. TSB needs to be shut down! Reviewed on: 26th June 2023

I'm generally happy with my business account at TSB. I've experienced friendly customer service, the rates and correspondence have been good. What I'd like to see improved is the technology side of the internet banking. Since the updates to the website a few months ago, I've been having trouble with connecting my cloud bookkeeping solution to TSB. The link between the two keeps breaking, which means I often have to spend time to renew the connection. It worked fine for years in the past. Reviewed on: 14th March 2023

Just disappointing

I'm being harassed by tsb regarding a business I have not been associated with for 2 and a half years despite attempting to resolve for 2 years. Complete failure of their systems and can't explain how disgusted I am with them as a banking institution. Very slow and inefficient

Simply dreadful

Have had business account with them for few years and things are worse now than they were at the start. Who's in charge here??! The most basic and simple of requests or tasks an absolute nightmare to complete. Takes ages to get through by phone and then you're faced with agents that just want to be as unhelpful as difficult as possible and keep you on hold for 30mins presumably thinking you'll hang up and give up! Trying for months to open business account

I have been trying for around 4 months to get my identity verified by these clowns and every time I send them they ask me for something else I have even been in to the Doncaster branch with I.d and spoken to the manager who buy the way was most helpful and still the imbeciles at head office block my application. I now honestly believe that these people get a high out of being awkward there's no wonder that their ratings are so low do yourself a big favour and take your business elsewhere cos these idiots will drive you to distraction Reviewed on: 3rd August 2022

Internet banking works better than most

Blocked money

I have try to buy equipment to my business and during the payment process my transaction was dismissed twice and my money was blocked by the bank. At the moment I dont have any equipment and money as well. During conversation with consultant, he promise me that the money should be unblocked in few hours, but after long waiting on the line he change his mind and told me that the money cannot be unblocked. Worst business bank ever. This bank is not safe for the businesses or even for individual . NOT RECOMMENDED Reviewed on: 15th June 2022

getting worse

I was one of the unfortunate ones whose Lloyds account was changed to TSB when there was a split up. It has got worse, a year or two back you used to be able to actually get through to someone before 10pm - now it is 5.30pm. I moved house 2 years ago and despite actually changing address verbally over the phone with someone at TSB (only way) it still is old address - with strangers getting my bank statements. The online banking is temperamental, the multiple payments often won't work and you each month I have to make my usual payments in several goes instead of one. Just avoid like the plague... if you don't bank with them already use any other bank but them. Reviewed on: 7th June 2022
