Easy Transfer

After checking on line which well known bank offered the best ISA rate with transfer in option, I was pleased to see that Virgin Money topped the list. The on line application was , as expected very straightforward and going with Virgin Money left me with no nagging worries if I had have gone with a lesser known provider. Sooooooo Sloooooow!

3 to 4 days to respond to messages whilst trying to transfer a considerable ISA to Virgin. I phoned to discuss and ask questions. The lady I spoke to was pretty vague with answers such as "maybe, possible and you could try". Terrible experience. Reviewed on: 7th June 2024

Setting up: Bad but Interest rate excellent

Getting an existing stocks and shares isa transferred to Virgin was a gruelling experience. The advisors provided wrong info or did not follow up on their duties. I lost over two months of interest because of the deficient service, and even tho an advisor told me Virgin would make up the shortfall - it didn’t. I had to make repeated phone calls and it was tiring and frustrating. But the final interest rate - was good! Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

Annoying!

Annoying! Log in to platform quite frustrating. I have lots of accounts with various banks, and none have such an annoying log in. First you have to remember sort code, then customer number, then password, and finally have to request and enter passcode sent to phone. I honestly think I would take a slightly lower rate next time, and go with a bank which uses an app and touch login Reviewed on: 29th February 2024
