Truly customer focused

I’ve been with one other car insurer but always find myself coming back to admiral. I’ve been with the sister companies aswell and all I can say is that they appear to be customer focused. I haven’t yet had to make a claim but I’m sure that the claim experience would match up to the current service I am receiving. What shocked me was when they made a pledge to reimburse everyone £25 - this shows that they are not choosing to profit on the amount of money saved due to COVID. They want to reward their customers for sticking to the guidelines (which clearly showed was being adhered to via the companies outgoings on claims) Reviewed on: 2nd August 2020

Keep coming back to them

Overall Admiral keep offering the best price on the market, good product with a good level of cover. On the occasion you claim they are quick and efficient to handle your claim. The one fly in the ointment is the online/app servicing of your account is poor with continued issues and problems. But overall good product and service. Reviewed on: 24th August 2023

Both ends!

Unwilling to negotiate on price

Hi, I was looking for affordable car insurance as there appears to be a huge, sudden and unjustified increase in the prices. I was unable to access or accept my quote online and decided to ring instead with the intention of getting a discount on my original quote. However, despite explaining that the price continues to increase, even after a few days, there was no discount available and the operator refused to offer a reduction. This was extremely disappointing as many of us, especially those from a vulnerable and low income household, are facing heightened costs. To make matters, I was then being pressured into accepting building/ contents insurance and if I chose to go ahead with that, I would receive a post-offer discount on my car insurance (which I had already paid for). I felt that this was a somewhat deceptive and underhanded method of trying to procure more money from me. Cheapest renewal, great if you have to use them

I had a minor incident with my car and a wall. Getting it fixed through Admiral was very simple, I didn't have to do much at all! Also, with renewals going up this year, Admiral were able to match prices elsewhere to keep my custom. Great service. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023

Available, helpful, easy

Have always managed to speak to a person quickly or within reasonable waiting time when necessary. Often isn't necessary as their online services are great and you can do a lot there! They've been helpful when needed. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023

Multi-car insurance at an afforfable price

Have been with Admiral for over 10 years. Every year I do a quote comparison and when I call Admiral after getting their reneeal quote, they always beat the market. Very pleased with the service including short waiting times when calling them. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023
