Appalling service

must be the worst lender out there. Employing complete donkeys who cant articulate requirements - keep sending us back and forth, each stage taking an average of 2 weeks. 48hours processing window is just a joke and the word escalation is certainly non-existent. not worth even a single star Reviewed on: 26th March 2018

Terrible service

Don't give these jokers your business. They employ complete morons to assess your application and also the solicitors provided are useless. Cannot understand simple documentation and time consuming. Don't let the low rates suck you in. Reviewed on: 21st March 2018

Buy to Let Mortgage

The process took 4 months instead of the 4 weeks we were quoted culminating in the bank declining to lend on the property as it was deemed "unsuitable", but they were not prepared to offer any further details as to what that meant as its "not the bank's policy" to do so. Easy to manage overpayments

We have recently renewed our mortgage deal with Barclays and we particularly chose to stay with this product as it offers us the ability to make overpayments. We had to pay a fee but we were rewarded with a lower interest rate, so it should all balance out in the end. Reviewed on: 24th December 2016

Always friendly and professional

Re-mortgaging smooth process

When I re-mortgaged with Woolwitch (Barclays) all went smoothly and paperwork done remotely. No issues. Best deal at the time. Would recommend. Reviewed on: 11th September 2016

Found it Just Great

My experience with Barclays Mortage have been great, lately, i have had lates payments because i didnt have a good work and i went to their offices to try explain my situation and kindly they offer me an extra time to recover myself i felt so relief to hear it.
