Very quick service, smooth and efficient service

Very quick service. From application to mortgage offer just under 4 weeks, this at a time when all institutions were inundated with applications to beat the labour stamp duty increases. I had been advised that there would be a delay because of the SD increases so was pleasantly surprised to receive my offer in such a timely manner. Tim was especially helpful at the application stage. I have now had notice of completion. All in all a very smooth and pleasant experience Well done BIBS, impressed with you. A Smooth, Stress-Free Mortgage Experience

I’m extremely impressed with the service I received from Bath Building Society, and especially from my mortgage advisor, Tim. From the very start, Tim has been incredibly supportive, professional, and reassuring. He guided me through every stage of the process, answered all my questions clearly, and helped me complete the forms with confidence. What could have been a stressful experience felt smooth and straightforward thanks to Tim’s calm, positive attitude and attention to detail. He was always quick to respond and very good at explaining what was important—and what I didn’t need to worry about! That made a huge difference. I’m absolutely delighted that my mortgage offer was produced so quickly, in just five working days. The efficiency and personal service I received exceeded all expectations. Retirement mortgage with exceptional service

Bath Building Society (Tim and the team) provided exceptional service from start to finish. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive, with a personal touch far superior to anywhere else (we went to other building societies and brokers). The key differences were we weren’t passed from pillar to post, endlessly repeating ourselves to different people filling in forms without context and more importantly treated with respect and listened to. The Retirement Mortgage itself perfectly met our needs too, which is flexible, reliable with longevity, and unlike anything we found elsewhere. It truly feels like a well-kept secret. Arranging our remortgage with Bath Building Society...

Arranging our remortgage with Bath Building Society was an overall very positive experience. In particular the support offered by Tim Randall was excellent. From the initial contact through the application process and beyond Tim guided us, offering appropriate advice and information and we are very grateful for his sage counsel. The underwriting process felt somewhat protracted at times, however, we do appreciate that this may be due to the individuality applied to each individual application. The Best Banking Team Around!

The team at Bath Building Society are always so helpful. I love having an account with them because you always receive a very personalised service where you are speaking to a very helpful representative from their side, you aren't ever kept waiting long for an answer and it is so refreshing and appreciated these days to be speaking directly with a human not endlessly trying to communicate via a 'live chat' or AI bot which many other banks now use. Whenever I have had a query this is responded to usually on the same day, they also keep you informed on any pending decisions.
