Trustworthy local institution

I like the idea that BIBS is a local firm that engages with the community in my home town. I like having a local branch (Moorland Rd) that is easy to visit and has staff who have always been friendly and helpful ... and I like the fact that I have been able to open a savings account for my (Bath-resident) grandson again with a local firm that I trust to continue well into the future. To improve my experience you could up your interest rates ... but ... Reviewed on: 4th June 2020

Rokas was very helpful and resolved my issues prompt...

Rokas was very helpful and resolved my issues promptly, but there had been previous issues i.e. having filled in a change of signatory form a couple of years ago I found out this hadn't been applied to the account, so although Rokas did everything he could overall it could do with some improvement. Wheater on the phone or in person, I find the staff very helpful. When I couldn't get into the bath branch. Rachel at the Oldfield park branch was very helpful in transferring some funds for me. Reviewed on: 28th May 2025
