Abysmal customer service

I agree with other reviewers who report that the new online system is a complete shambles and a disgrace. I disagree with those who say that the service previously was ok. Routine changes of bank mandate, signatories, etc were always shambolic and meant waiting weeks to go through hoops and replacing documents the bank could never find. New System? Not so far.

How can a bank have major problems when changing to a new system, such that a customer cannot access their own charity account, nor login with the new codes sent to them, nor contact the Customer Services by phone. It is enough to make me change Banks, but first I need access. Reviewed on: 10th June 2025

Shambles

Previous online banking system great. New system a shambles. Not working. Cannot make payments. Bank not taking any calls due to "customer volumes". What a disaster. Reviewed on: 10th June 2025

Poor and expensive service

BACS payments very slow. High charges for our small charity without many transactions monthly. Cannot input payee's full name, then failed to respond to request for assistance helpfully. Reviewed on: 24th February 2024

A friendly and professional bank

We’ve moved over from Barclays. Caf is sooooo much more helpful, approachable and customer oriented. Reviewed on: 1st February 2024

Church Banking

CAF Bank have provided us with an easy way of online payment and receiving donations by standing order. However we are unable to pay in cash locally as all the HSBC Banks have closed and we are unable to pay cash into our local post office.. Reviewed on: 1st February 2024
