had to make a claim , so many things went wrong when trying to upload a dashcam video to their site ( their website sucks to use) got sent to a physio for my neck who barely spoke english & did close to nothing , very poor info re what happens to my no claims bonus, very unipressed with how they operate Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Avoid at all costs

Absolutely shoddy poor service , someone tried to fraudulent claim on my insurance, and then got told.if I don't respond in 30 days the claim will be on my insurance . I called everyday for 2 weeks and no one knew what was going on, I was on hold for 1 hour calls at a time , and then they just started the process again . DO NOT Insure with this company especially its so stressful and my situation is still unresolved . Reviewed on: 30th June 2023

Think twice before you choose them.

They might be cheaper than other company but think twice. Had a car accident, someone hit me from the back, they decided not to repair my car but to pay me back. I have to call them every week to send the check, they always say today or tomorrow but they never did. When they say they will call you back they won't. Reviewed on: 29th June 2023

Avoid Esure like the plague

I have found it impossible to speak to someone at Esure about a claim. When you phone them you go from one recorded message to another. When you eventually get through to a live human being, tell them you want the claims department and that under no circumstances to put you through to a recorded message - guess what, they put you through to a recorded message. Esure should not be allowed to operate as an insurance company. I'd give them a minus score if possible. Reviewed on: 27th June 2023

OK unless you need to make a claim!

Unfortunately I needed to make a claim on my car insurance while on holiday 400miles from home. My first call to report the issue was answered promptly, but the next steps weren't made clear, nor the situation regarding support in getting hold of a hire car. Since then, every phone call has kept me on hold for an eternity, and I get passed from one department to another in what appears to be a deliberate game of hoping I'll give up & go away! My car has now been declared a total loss for 14 days and I can't even get through to the "Engineers" to discuss a valuation & settlement. No comms, nothing. Just hours and hours waiting in vain to have someone answer the phone. They don't even let you know how many are in the queue ahead of you. I will avoid both eSure and Sheila's Wheels in future. ESURE PROBLEMS

ENSURE WROTE OFF MY CAR AND AGREED A SETTLEMENT AND SENT ME AN EMAIL SAYING THE MONEY IS ON ITS WAY. TWO WEEKS LATER NO MONEY. THEY TOLD ME TO REGISTER THE CAR TO A COMPANY CALLED COPART. I REGISTERED THE CAR IN THAT COMPANY NAME AND THEN PHONED COPART WHO TOLD ME THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE CAR. ESURE WILL NOT ANSWER MY PHONE CALLS AND WILL NOT ANSWER EMAILS. I NOW HAVE CONTACTED MY MP AND MAY HAVE TO TAKE THE COMPANY TO COURT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED Reviewed on: 15th June 2023

Disgusting company to deal with

1 star is to much absolutely disgusting company to deal with don't awnser there phone lines even when you call from 8am apparently there lines are busy. Got cut of and hung up on 2x yesterday trying to speak to someone and this morning everyone's to busy at 8am avoid this company like the plague they lie, they cheat they are absolute scumbags and I'm not even a client. Looking at what paying customers have to say they don't look after them either. I'll be reporting them to the financial ombudsman. 3 yrs I've had a car claim going on and have accepted there offer as they accepted full liability. have they paid me my compensation no. I've had to get enforcement officers involved after the car incident causing me serve mental health issues with the aggressiveness of the crash and there client its like they just want to tourment you some more amd prevent you from moving on with your life. never had a claim with over 50 years of driving. But they put up the cost of my policy by over 60% Having been with them for 12 years.
