Best Customer care in 30 plus years of banking

Finally a couple years back as a 50-something decided I needed to try online banking. FD were the most clear and transparent about their services and how it worked. Especially about online security procedures. Joining was easy and a couple of minor queries were dealt with over the phone with extremely helpful and courteous operators. I've been very reticent about online banking for many years but First Direct have been excellent IMO. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

Fantastic app and chat bot

The best bank ever!

I’ve been with Firsr Direct for around two years, and couldn’t be happier. Every time I’ve needed to contact them, they’ve been super helpful and friendly - more like calling a friend than a bank - and have made everything really easy and straightforward. The App is great too and easy to use, plus they offer other benefits such as a savings account and an interest-free overdraft. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

Whoever i speak to doesn't seem to have a clue. A simple query about deactivating the app so I can set it up on a new device took 11 minutes. The person I spoke to had me on hold for about 6 minutes then started reading from what sounded like a script. They didn't listen to what I had asked Reviewed on: 25th February 2023
