Exckude banks who try to bribe their customers

When I have an issue there is someone I can speak to sort it out. The bank that sent me the email to vote for them was RCI, with an offer to be included in a draw with a potential prize of £1000 if I vote for them.This prize draw is not the intention of the review, is it? Shouldn't a bank trying to bribe customers to vote for them as an alternative to providing customer service be called out for that strategy? What is the point of this review, and why do you not exclude banks which offer prizes as a bribe instead of customer service? Reviewed on: 22nd March 2025

I have been a customer of First Direct for 34 years so I know this bank very well For 33 years I often recommended it to friends but this past year then service has completely collapsed. I am constantly having to call them to sort out problems and their attitude is not helpful. They are sliding down the ratings and I am not surprised. Reviewed on: 29th October 2025

Great customer service, 24 hours a day, any issues are always dealt with promptly. Would be good if the current account paid interest as well. Reviewed on: 21st June 2025

What I like the most about this bank is the customer service, I don’t think I have ever had a bad interaction over the phone. Every time I have had a query it has been solved expediently and professionally. Of course the current account is great. I came via the switch offer and I do not regret it! They are with you 24/7 at the end of a phone line with a UK based call centre. On the rare occassion when I need to talk to a real person my problems are simply dealt with and I feel like I am talking to a friend. Problem free current account, for a change.
