Great account

Great current account giving £5 reward each month plus cash back to be earnt using your debit card in certain stores. Very helpful in branch when setting up the account talking us through everything really well, can't fault them so far. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Best bank I've been with

I swapped initially just for the reward offered but since changing to the Halifax I've been really surprised with how good they are. The service is much more personal from my local branch rather than a call centre. The app is simple and I can do everything I need on it. Reviewed on: 1st May 2017

Great current account provider

I'm rewarded every month with £3 credited to my account simply for banking with them and I receive cashback on my purchases. The staff are friendly and the branch is open Saturday mornings. I would recommend Halifax as a current account provider. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2017

Bad experience

Opened an account and told them I didn't want an overdraft, they put one on anyway without me knowing. Thinking my bank would stop me when I reached 0, I spent over the overdraft amount ended up with £400 bank charges. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2017

does what it says on the box :-)

Straightforward switching service and very good app. Makes all the accounts visible and simple to understand. Only disappointment is that they have just lowered the reward on the the reward account :-( Reviewed on: 3rd April 2017
