Great service

I changed to Halifax last year via the switch over which was great didn't have to do a thing it was all done for me. So all my bills where paid as they were all brought over such a easy transaction Reviewed on: 22nd April 2015

Easy transition from one bank to Halifax with great cutomer service

I recently changed current accounts from NatWest to halifx. The process was smooth and any help I needed was readily available. The account has some good perks and the mobile app is very clear. I would definitely recommend. Reviewed on: 21st April 2015

No issues, straightforward banking

I have had no issues with Halifax as my main current account provider. Everything runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis and, any time I have needed to contact them for any reason, the service I have received has been very good and helpful. Simply the best

The Halifax in my humble opinion is simply the best. I have found them to be attentive, understanding, friendly, and informative. Nothing is ever a problem to the staff, every help is given if needed and more than enough information is always provided. Reviewed on: 26th March 2015

Great customer service and no problems or issues in over 5 years

Not often do you visit your local branch and leave with a glowing feeling; feeling connecting to the community. Halifax surprised me. In the run up to Christmas they had a luxury hamper on display, selling raffle tickets for £1 to raise money for special equipment for a local authority school looking after very vulnerable children. There was no pressure to buy but I was warmly assisted when I asked, the adviser explaining what the aim of the raffle was. I was told there was a smaller hamper to win too, although that wasn't on display. The initiative left me feeling as though there was hope for us all in this society yet/that it wasn't all cold heartless money. Well done Halifax! Reviewed on: 25th January 2015

Subpar

Poor customer service, no matter how small the problem it was always a hassle to the get it sorted. When I tried to switch from a current account to a student account I had to wait three weeks and then was told I was not eligible for a student account, I walked into Barclays and within an hour I had a student account set up. Switching bonus...worth it

Was tempted by the switching bonus of 100 pounds. Much easier to switch than I thought and have been happy so far (a few months in...so my experience could change) Reviewed on: 16th October 2014
