Very helpful staff who go out of their way to help you (Kendal branch).

I travel a lot for work and I've often run into problems that HSBC has helped me out with. I once had my debit card stolen and it was difficult to get a replacement while I was abroad. However, the helpful staff at Kendal branch enabled me to get a new card promptly, and they also suggested making my mother a signatory to my account so that she can authorise such processes in the future should a similar situation arise. dispute department - dealt superbly

had s dispute with another company, bank dealt with it as i could not get my money back. they disputed my case well and retrieved 90% of my money Reviewed on: 10th January 2016

Theft of money from my account

I made a small online purchase (a lottery ticket) from a company that once it had my card details went on taking money every week from my account, eventually making me overdrawn and bouncing my direct debits. HSBC were not obliged to refund the money, I think because I had wittingly parted with my card details; but then neither were they obliged to waive £80.00 in overdraft charges, which to my surprise they did. No problems at all

Never had any problems with HSBC, the Digital Key thing they added in was a mess and have ended up dropping anyway so that has improved this, otherwise they have been fair, now support Apple Pay and couldn't ask for more. Reviewed on: 25th December 2015

I've been a customer of HSBC for 3 years now, in all this time I've never had a single bad experience with them and have always been treated really well whenever I have any problems or need help with my account, for example when needing to set up online banking. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Great Bank
