Didn't change address properly

I contacted the Bank on many occasions to change an overseas address as I was stuck there due to Covid-19 and my card had expired. The staff I spoke to on the phone only put in the 1st line of the address despite me spelling the full address patiently word for word. The new Debit card never arrived Obviously due to this major error Reviewed on: 19th February 2023

Good product

Ok, but got worse since my Bank Manager left

Generally my experience is ok, but they haven't been overly helpful with my financial situation. Being ill, I have problems with paying back debt, but have not been offered any help. Apart from this, I am quite happy with the services they offer. Reviewed on: 8th January 2016

Lloyds are tolerant, understanding and acknowledge you as the customer.

Lloyds have been patient, understanding and they helped me manage my finances extremely well. In fact, they still do. When I had some issues with money, they helped me to set up a payment plan which meant that I could pay what I could afford without going through the usual motions that banks like to put people through when they're in debt e.g. high court order, repossession of items. Their customer experience is perfect and they tend to consider all aspects that you need them to. Overall, I highly recommend them. Reviewed on: 29th December 2015

A pleasant experience

Lloyds is a bank I have been a customer of for many years and recently I joined the club lloyds scheme. For a seemingly low payment of £5 a month I gained access to a number of benefits, both financial ones and a 'lifestyle benefit' - in my case 6 cinema tickets. Good...but

Good little current account

Ive been using Lloyds Bank since I was at school and always found their standard current account to be good enough for my needs. However, about a year ago, whilst paying in a cheque, the cashier recommended that I upgrade and I can honestly say Im glad that I did. So long as you have a minimum of £1500 paid in each money you get this account for free, otherwise its £5.00 a month. In return you get a far better interest rate, cheaper mortgage rates and a choice of lifestyle benefit incentives. All in all its a good product and Id recommend it. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Great Account

I have been with Lloyds for 9 years. This is an excellent added value account, it is very cheap and works out free if you meet the requirements. The Gourmet Society is excellent and provides loads of savings when eating out. Offers an amazing 4% ISA saving account. Lloyd's as a bank are also very pleasant, I regularly have yearly meetings, where rather then trying to sell me products, they try and save me money by changing loans, credit cards. Bit average, no real good offers as a bank

Some banks have offers and great saver rates, Lloyds does little to support the savers but are great at charging for overdraft facilities, it is just average as a bank Reviewed on: 22nd November 2015
