Disappointed not to receive an acknowledgment for my application for a cash ISA. I had received an email from the provider of the transfer to say the money had gone out of their account, but nothing to indicate where it had gone. It was quite a large amount and it was some time before I received a letter and passbook to confirm the transaction to Mansfield BS had taken place. Reviewed on: 28th November 2024

Excellent service in branch and over phone. Staff have time to speak to customers rather than sending you to a web site. Great to have local and loyal products. Also very nice to have visit to Mansfield F C and to be able to chat with Senior Management Reviewed on: 27th November 2024

ISA transfer form 13 day delay.

I ask for an ISA transfer form in good time to arrange transfer of maturing ISA without lost of interest. Incorrect form sent. Able to open an ISA account but not fund it. No confirmation after 13 calendar days that MBS has received correct form to request transfer, due to mistake and postal delays. Feeling anxious and stressed. May have to go to another provider to get ISA transferred without loss of interest. Delay is down to post, wrong form sent, and Red Tape of ISA's. Reviewed on: 17th November 2024

antiquated application system

ISA closed without ever being opened!

I applied by post fora postal isa on 28 October porting my old skipton isa over. I have heard nothing until today when I got an email with this survey saying sorry you have closed your account! Seriously?!? I filled in your contact form this morning - no one has replied emailed or called me. Terrible. I have no idea what is going on! I can’t open a new isa until I know this one hasn’t been opened. Terrible terrible service. Reviewed on: 15th November 2024

Due to managing extremely high volumes of applications an administrative error meant a second account was opened and closed before we had the chance to inform you that the first account was successfully opened. Having experienced excellent service in your branches since I have saved with you over quite a number of years I was disappointed if not annoyed that when I tried to ring your society on a couple of Mondays the response was always throughout the day that no one was available even though as I understand it that calls can be transferred to any one of your branches and your head office depts. Another point is the delay in sending out any relevant passbooks for new savings accounts. Reviewed on: 15th November 2024
