Responsible lending, Truly

After applying for a new mortgage to move home my wife and I felt that we would have no problems with both having excellent credit scores. Nationwide actually surprised us by not just handing money out straight away. There was a number of questions they asked that made us evaluate all of our spending. great banking service

No better choice

Customer service is always excellent. Never sat waiting on the end of a phone for long if we have to call. Most things can be done online & or via the app. Happy in the knowledge they are sensible lenders & wont let you over commit & always have plenty of options to consider. The flexibility of the product is good in terms of over payments, payment holidays etc. the only disappointing aspect is over payments can no longer be borrowed back in a lump some, which was a great feature on some of their previous products. Easily manageable mortgage

Brilliant mortgage provider

Nationwide were one of few providers who accepted a lower deposit on the mortgage which was great for me with little savings at the time, I received a welcome box full of useful goodies and free samples all excellent for a new homeowner, and communications with Nationwide haven’t been needed since, as I have had no issues at all Reviewed on: 16th February 2023
