Lovely people to deal with

Took out I.S.A.’s last year and have been so impressed with the society’s efficient and courteous service, that have transferred other Savings to F.B.S this year. Staff are so helpful and treat you as a valued client, rather than a number. Well done to you all. Reviewed on: 13th June 2020

Frustrating service

It would be great if someone picked up the phone during the hours that the Building Society are meant to be open! I just want to change my address and phone number and I cannot do this online. Other companies are managing something of a service during this covid crisis time. Reviewed on: 28th May 2020

Reply from Family Building Society Hi Grace, Thank you for your message and I’m sorry that you have had trouble contacting us. As a result of these unprecedented times, we have made some temporary changes to our opening hours. From Tuesday 26 May our Head Office will be open from 9.00am to 2.00pm from Monday to Friday and we will be closed on Saturdays. Our phone lines are particularly busy at the moment, so we may take longer than normal to answer calls. However, there is an option for you to leave a call-back request, which will retain your place in the queue so that you don’t have to wait on the line. Alternatively, you can email us at [email protected] with a contact number for us to call you, or you can send us a secure message if you are registered for our Online Service. A Change of Address form is also available to download from our website – familybuildingsociety.co.uk. Just go to the FAQ tab at the top of the home page. Good range of products, good service

Family Building Society are one of a very few financial organisations offering a good choice of savings products with some of the best interest rates to be had. The service is very good - I was kept informed of the progress of an ISA transfer. Reviewed on: 27th May 2020
