Being involved in creation, not destruction

It is such a positive part of my life, to know my bank is investing my money in projects that look forward and nurture humanity, and make conflicts less likely. My previous high street bank was invesiting in arms, and oil pipe expansion. I felt complicit in the worlds problems. Also, I find the online bank easy to use, which is a relief! Nothing compares

We've banked around and then came Triodos. We were drawn in because of their ethical credentials and active policies. But we've been really impressed by the ongoing improvements to online and App banking. And customer service when we need it is friendly and effective. What's not to like Reviewed on: 16th March 2022

Ethical, friendly bank

I love Triodos. I have two bank accounts and I've been banking with them for about 6 years. They have been unfailingly great. They answer their phones quickly, their staff are friendly, the online banking is super easy and secure, and I feel glad that I am not with a bank who funds arms deals, but instead with a bank who funds communities, small ethical businesses and innovation. Emphasis on appearance rather than substance

Cannot cash cheques at Post Office, debit cards regularly fail authorisation for no apparent reason. Website stuck between old and new versions so it's necessary to hop backwards and forwards. Reviewed on: 16th March 2022

Not only am I happy that my money is being looked after by people who share my ethical principles, I am also very satisfied with the ease of communication (either by secure message or by phone) with real bank staff members and with the prompt personal attention they give to my queries. Accessible, transparent and eco-friendly

Many banks don’t have local branches any more and those that do have long ceased to have managers who can make decisions or to be able to phone head office faster than you. Triodos account holders can mail and get an answer, phone and get an answer, and let you know what (ethical) use is being made of your money. Feels good, is good. Reviewed on: 16th March 2022
