From a fairly new convert!

I switched from Barclays Bank over six months ago, having read not only about Triodos Bank's ethos but also about the appalling fact that Barclays Bank funds fossil fuel companies that are wantonly destroying our wonderful planet. I have had marvellous customer support from Triodos at times when I've needed assistance & cannot fault them in any way. A refreshing change from other banks! Reviewed on: 15th January 2022

Hands-down the best switch I've ever made. Efficient, friendly, as digitally sophisticated (and secure) as any other bank and proving an outstanding exception to the archaic impression that benevolent or humanitarian concerns equate to inefficiency or result in 'poor' business models. Ethical and customer focused

I switched to Triodos from a high street bank as it resonates strongly with my concerns with the climate emergency. Their policies on the climate and environment are excellent, but I've also found their customer service matches this commitment. Could not recommend highly enough. Divestment is a powerful tool!

I choose to bank with Triodos because they put their money where their mouth is. They actively avoid financing the arms trade, companies with poor labour rights, companies active in Burma and the fossil fuel industry. They are transparent with their investments and publish an annual report detailing everyone they have lent money to. I left HSBC after 20+ years, having opened an account with them as a student. I would recommend Triodos to everyone - yes I pay a £3 monthly fee, but the 'free banking' offered by the big 4 is a fallacy. I've personally suffered from punitive overdraft fees with HSBC, which is why it took several years between finding out about Triodos and making the switch - I had to clear off my overdraft before closing my account. The big 4 are making an obscene amount of money out of the poorest in society. With Triodos you know upfront what you're paying for their services - and it's worth every penny. Everyone I've spoken to in customer service has been helpful, friendly and warm. They sound like they care. At the moment I only have a current account, but as soon as I'm in a position to be able to save I'll be opening a savings account with Triodos. Reviewed on: 15th January 2022

Triodos bank offers great ethical online banking

Having had a savings account with Triodos for a number of years, I was offered the chance to open a current account when it was first launched, and have switched all my banking to Triodos since. The service provided is of a high quality, online banking using the website and app is straightforward, and it's reassuring to bank with a company that has an ethical approach and publishes details of all its investments.
