worst company insurance not worth the paper its written on

Missed our flight and lost our car hire vehicle enlightenment, but Admiral would not pay out under missed international departure stating that we were not covered for the airport delays that lead to us missing our flight, so when your down, stressed and upset they put the boot in. User Admiral Travel insurance since 2023 & upgraded to Platinum each year. Jan 25 we had goods stolen from our cases in France CDG airport. We had a brand new pair of trainers & a bottle of perfume from duty free in Miami. Paris was a 6 hr stop on way back to UK. We had receipts & we know it happened in CDG My Mom had items taken from her case too in CDG and they didn’t go from MIami! We had receipts & put a claim in against the theft. Claiming, a waste of time

I took out Admiral Gold travel insurance, only to later discover I already had an active policy on the same account. There was no warning or flag—just a duplicated payment. While frustrating, that’s not even the main issue. My bag was stolen during my trip. I submitted claims for the stolen items, one of which I also claimed on my home insurance. That claim was handled and paid within days. In contrast, several weeks later, I’m still caught in a repetitive and drawn-out process... Reviewed on: 10th April 2025

Dreadful travel insurance policy

Failed to cover missed flights because of unforeseeable international transfer issues. I had to pay £700 for an emergency replacement flight that they refused to cover. Reviewed on: 7th April 2025

I had a fall whilst on holiday in Fuerteventura on 2...

I had a fall whilst on holiday in Fuerteventura on 2nd January which resulted in a broken wrist. The hospital over there recommended that I return home asap has I would likely need an operation, which I did. Despite having supplied the information required by Admiral (many times over) I have still not received any payment! They where fortunate because I went to the local hospital not a private one. Admiral is not a reputable insurance company!

My husband missed his flight home due to landslide on route to the airport. He had to get a flight the next day. He was only claiming for his flight. He has sent in all the documentation but they still want more. His friend who he travelled with was reimbursed within two days without having to provide so much documentation over and over! Quick, easy and efficient

I recently had an accident in France that entailed all kinds of complicated expenses. Admiral dealt with everything quickly and efficiently. I can't fault them at all. Will never use Admiral again

I paid for a policy to cover my pre existing conditions as I have breast cancer that spread to my brain luckily currently I have no evidence of disease but declare all this on my insurance. We were on holiday in November in the Maldives (a holiday of a lifetime that we saved for for many years). 4 days into our holiday my father in law passed away.
