Yes! Absolutely! I've been with a few different banks over the years and have many a time been disappointed at how difficult it was to speak with an easy to understand administrator...I finally found the bank I will be staying. They have everything offered to me by other banks; the products, the online user friendly website, they even switched all my direct debits with no Burroughs AND I got a cash back reward for the honour! Brilliant!

Awful customer service and more expensive than other banks.

We have got another bank after some bad experiences - firstly we never had an introductory rate, we got charged for pretty much everything (more than other banks charge) and when I tried to get a new PIN number I had about 100 questions as I couldn't...

We have got another bank after some bad experiences - firstly we never had an introductory rate, we got charged for pretty much everything (more than other banks charge) and when I tried to get a new PIN number I had about 100 questions as I couldn't remember my log in and ended up in tears as the lady was so patronising to me. We also had a bad experience with coop insurance a few years ago. I like the shop but not any other of their products!

Since joining the Co-operative (which in itself was far easier than any other bank I tried), I have not experienced a single negative thing. I am not constantly bombarded with unnecessary emails/texts/calls/post. Very easy to contact and speak with when needed, and the improved on-line banking is so simple to use. Overall, for my needs this is the best bank to use 10/10.

Their initial customer service was dire, switching took over a month because of their ineptitude and incompetence. But that aside, their day to day handling of my account has been fine. I switched for the bonus and because my previous bank were poor, I regretted switching at first, but now I am happy with their service

Opened a current account with them after having a really old account with Bristol & west. I was taken into a private office so felt my private details wernt heard by everyone else. The lady I dealt with was really friendly and explained everything in a clear manner. My second visit was to set my security up on my account were I seen a different member of staff. As before they were very friendly and professional. I was very pleases with the overlay experience and came away with an account I'm happy with. Would highly recommend them.

We chose the co-operative bank over 15 years ago because of their ethical investment policies. We were impressed by the thought of a bank actually having an ethical policy! We still are happy that they do but simply wish they they would apply their same sense pf ethics to their every day dealing with their customers. The charges for the everyday banking is surprising. They are currently undergoing maintenance and are therefore unavailable online for anything other than emergencies. They prepared their customers for this, but in this day and age, it is still unacceptable.
