Rubbish website

Applied for a new savings account as a new customer, the easy bit. Received an email with user ID and activation key and link to Harpenden Online then just went around in circles getting nowhere. Another website designed by very clever IT geeks to confuse people. Reviewed on: 8th June 2025

Amateurish - perhaps not even that good

Impossible to carry out intended task. Rang Society to be told that the person I was dealing with couldn’t help and I had to try online again. Did so - again without success. Had to ring them again. The person I spoke to this time was more helpful but couldn’t carry out the transaction in question. She said that their website was run by a third party and that there were issues! Its local and low-tech: I don't use a computer or a smartphone and I prefer using cash day to day. The staff have become friends and are always so helpful. It makes me feel safe. Reviewed on: 31st May 2025
