Very disappointing claims experience with Tesco Insurance I am extremely disappointed with the way Tesco Insurance has handled my non-fault accident claim. I was involved... Very disappointing claims experience with Tesco Insurance I am extremely disappointed with the way Tesco Insurance has handled my non-fault accident claim. I was involved in a road traffic accident where another driver hit my vehicle. The other driver accepted responsibility at the scene and provided me with their insurance details. I immediately took photographs and videos, contacted the police and informed Tesco that CCTV cameras were available which could verify exactly what happened. I provided Tesco with all the information they requested. Despite this, my claim has been stressful and frustrating from the beginning. Tesco declared my car a total loss and valued it at £1,510, but only offered me around £760 because my excess is being withheld until recovery from the third-party insurer. This has left me without enough money to replace my vehicle and without any transport for over two months. Communication throughout my claim has been poor. I repeatedly had to chase for updates and felt I was left to deal with everything myself instead of receiving the support I expected from my insurer. I also informed Tesco that CCTV evidence was available, but I was never kept informed about whether they had taken steps to obtain it. This was a non-fault accident, yet I have experienced delays, uncertainty and unnecessary stress while waiting for my claim to progress. Instead of feeling supported by my insurer, I have been left without a car and without clear answers. I expected Tesco Insurance to protect its customers when they are involved in an accident that was not their fault. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. I believe the Tesco Clubcard Credit Card is one of the weakest credit card products in the UK, if not the weakest, mainly because of the overall customer experience rather than the card itself. Some of the biggest issues are: * You cannot view your full card number securely in the app, which is a standard feature offered by many competitors. * You cannot choose the statement date that best suits your finances through the app. If you want to change it, you have to call customer support. This should be a simple self-service feature, especially when there is no live chat available. * After paying the minimum payment shown on your statement, the app often continues to display that the minimum payment is still due. It can also send reminder notifications telling you to make the payment, even though it has already been received. The message simply says to ignore it if you’ve already paid, which creates unnecessary confusion. * Customer support is frustrating. Calling support means going through multiple automated menus and robots before eventually reaching a real person. * There is no live chat, despite many UK banks now offering fast in-app messaging. Overall, the app feels outdated and lacks features that have become standard across the UK banking industry. The user experience, customer support, and digital tools are well below the level offered by many competitors. I hope Tesco Bank invests in improving both the app and the overall customer experience, as there is significant room for improvement. Read more Read less

Eventually we had to use my husbands debit card, as we were afraid of loosing the tickets. The next day I contacted them and it was because I used a different computer.
