I accept that cost do rise every year, (exactly what all the others say as well!) but when its as high as it is, +£200 on each policy, then £200 excess and 20% dual payment on the rest of the bill, I'm wondering if its worth it! I have spent two weeks trying to hear basic information about the progress of the case and what will happen next. I just keep hearing the same thing, we haven’t looked at the case file yet. The car was recovered by the police and placed at a recovery centre, each day I am recurring extra costs with no decision or information from Tesco. I am calling them for information and have heard nothing. They are still taking money out of my account for a car I don’t have and no one is telling me anything. When I queried this they said it's in the small print they can make changes to the policy at will. As I worked in pet insurance for 18 years I had asked many questions before commencing the policy but apparently the information they gave me 5 years ago no longer stands due to them changing their underwriter - it appears they are at liberty to change anything they wish, including the policy information I signed up to!
