Stay away if you value your credit score. My payment was reversed as something unexpected had gone out of my account on the same day.... Stay away if you value your credit score. My payment was reversed as something unexpected had gone out of my account on the same day. I received a text message saying the payment would be re attempted ( if it wasn’t for this i would have made the payment straight away) I made sure the money was in my account and it went out on the re attempted. I then found the missed payment was reported to the credit reference agencies. After realising , I made contact with Tesco bank to explain the situation and that I hadn’t wanted to make a double payment, as I assumed the payment was booked to be re attempted, which led me into a false sense of security. The assistant I spoke to was very rude and blunt , stating Tesco bank had done nothing wrong and that they were reporting the account as delinquent after a payment was 15 days late even though the account was now up to date (they chose the 15 day period to re attempted the payment).
