I was 21 when I took out insurance with Tesco from recommendation. A year on, I have had no problems whatsoever with them, it has felt as if I didn’t have a black box at all. I received a score from 80-100 each month and when it came to renewing, it was £1000 cheaper than what I paid before. No curfews, and you don’t get punished if you accidentally go a lot over the speed limit.. as long as you realise and bring it back down. Can’t fault it, very pleased.

Horrendous bank will not protect your hard earned money if we're scammed your account can be empty in hrs I'm talking not hundreds I mean thousands and no checks or anything done unlike other banks were suspicious activity or large amounts leaving accounts they contact you straight away to check this is you making transactions tesco don't do anything and making complaints I made one 8 weeks ago still no response or has been dealt with they must have backlog of complaints to take this long get told they will call you back never happens all banks have procedures to protect customers money that's why you put in a bank i didn't want a overdraft as don't like debt well these give you no choice they pay for things on your behalf without asking and get you in a negative balance and Then to charge you huge interest fees even though there was nothing in account to pay for it they do it now in negative balance £1000 then to keep phoning threatening with actions disgraceful they have ruined my life also my kids future what bank pays for something on your behalf when no funds in account to pay for it then to get you In a negative balance of £1000 and then to charge you for it when you didn't get asked or wanted it paid or agreed for overdraft then to constant phone calls see they can call when they want something but in regards to my complaint nothing I would absolutely avoid this bank read reviews before committing your hard earned money in to this joke of a bank wish I read reviews I would of never put my money in to it wish I stayed with my old bank what have your money totally protected when just a couple of transactions they do checks straight away and deal with anything straight away and anything is not a problem the staff at tesco bank have a carnt be bothered approach and don't care talk to you like your stupid and when rang about a statement they said not on my account so did I get someone else's statement? Total joke

Ive been using tesco car insurance for over 4 years never had to use them to make a claim. Recently i was involved in a minor car accident not at fault customer service was a joke refusing me a hire vehicle was just the start of this nightmare, over next few days i was told to pay £126 to amend a occupation details or have my policy cancelled wtf... now ive boycotted tesco never to use them again anywhere and ill advise anyone whos thinking of taking car insurance with tesco to reconsider save yourself the headache as tesco simply do not care untill liability has been accepted by third party what a joke of a company stick to selling groceries.

I was involved in a car accident which was not my fault. My car was collected by Tesco’s own garage that does repairs, they only replaced the back panel and repainted the car they are refusing to do further repairs on it saying that the other damage is non accidental. How can they expect me to drive a car that is vibrating and shaking when I’m driving it?. This car is a death trap and I’m stuck. I have made several phone calls to customer services/ claim line but have had no joy. I took my car to Halfords for a second opinion and they told me that my car is write off of which Tesco’s is refusing to listen to this nor take my car for a second opinion at a different garage. Tesco you have put my life at risk and surely it’s your responsibility to ensure that all accident damaged cars are repaired to a safe standard. You surely have failed on this one. What’s the point of paying for insurance if you don’t want to pay up in terms of accidents? Would not recommend as it’s a joke.

One of the top company that lie to customer and can’t defend themselves. I claimed pet insurance and spoke with 3 different agents about this same claim and got 3 differ t answers every time. At the end they cancelled my policy and refunded my premium policy from 1 st day. Shocking customer service, manager can’t explained why and how they lie to me each time. In total I was waiting over 8 weeks for my claim and waste over 5 hours over phone.

Been with tesco car insurance for a year no problem, up for renewal and found cheaper on the obvious websites. Rang them up as the auto renewal was very confusing when you read the small print. Normally you expect the person to ask if they can beat the new price, no not this lady lol. Very abrupt!! All she said was do you want to cancel!!!! No I just don't want to renew!!! Why is it so difficult to stop auto renew. Yes I know they want to keep taking the money, but at least sort your phone sales out if you want the business!!

Insurance cancelled for no reason

Tesco wanted proof of my no claims discount and sent the emails which arrived to my junk inbox. Instead of calling or writing to ask if emails had been received or warn me of cancellation, they just cancelled it. Would never recommend insurance with them.

Tesco have been poor with the 2 separate claims for our pet Dog. They have taken an excess amount to process the 1st one. The second one was accepted but a continuation of treatment was rejected due to issues with the 1st claim. We have had to move heaven and high water to get the claims reviewed and we are still waiting for a response. Have cancelled my policy on renewal and will not be using Tesco Bank again.
