Matured Bond

Encouraged to use online service. Used the service to give bond maturity instructions. Received an email confirming receipt. Maturity date came and went and nothing happened. Eventually spoke to a human who said that they hadn’t received instructions!! Assured me that it would be dealt with immediately. Nothing happened!! Sent two emails today and got an automated reply to say they were very busy!! Still awaiting return of my investment. I was initially going to re-invest but have lost all confidence in this institution - very unimpressed! Reviewed on: 6th June 2025

Worst banking experience I have ever had

The online service is clunky. Support is only available during working hours. I am trying to transfer funds to another ISA and I am being made to jump through a number of hurdles that seem to change every time I do them. There was never this many hurdles in place when I was depositing my money into the account. Would not recommend this account to anyone Reviewed on: 7th July 2021

Difficulty Closing Savings Account on Maturity

Call Back Service Not as stated. 1st call over a week later when told too & account will now be closed could only say "have a good day" A 2nd call back was a week after that, a joke. Closure papers signed as requested but rejected twice on technicality. Needed to go personally to the branch. I had banked with them since National County Days. Standards very much poorer now.
