Sadly not good anymore.

Sadly not good anymore. I have been loyal to Nationwide for decades as I believe in the concept of building society banking, but their chatbot process is excruciating, their customer service poor (for example asking what your contact preference is then repeatedly ignoring it), and there is no interest on their standard current account Reviewed on: 27th February 2025

I got £200 for joining !!

I got £200 for joining (bonus!) customer service is fantastic, easy to navigate the app. I receive interest each month, they’re always happy to help if needed. the only downside I’ve experienced so far is you have to physically go into branch to cash in cheques. I do not live nearby so the cheque has just been sat in my purse for months, other banks you can ‘pay in’ cheques via the app. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

Customer of 30 years standing

I have been a customer of Nationwide for over 30 years. In that time I have found them helpful any time I have contacted them by phone, email or face to face. They have been mortgage providers for the 3 houses I have bought and they will continue to be my choice for banking, savings, insurances etc. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

Good bank with good values.

I have enjoyed this account. Nationwide is a good bank, with good values (re fossil fuels etc). I have never had a problem with them, and the online app is very useful to manage and view my money. I like the ability to have two connected accounts. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

Nationwide have been excellent

I moved to Nationwide last year from TSB and have been very impressed. Ease of use, clear statements and easy transfer of money. Only had to call them once but found them very helpful. Security seems good with use of card reader, passcodes etc. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

I've banked with Nationwide for over 8 years now. They are brilliant, you get all share reward for being a loyal customer each year like a little bonus which is always a plus and they are always on hand to help customer service wise. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025
